- Wash the tomatoes thoroughly. Cut off the top and carefully scoop out the inside with a spoon.
- Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Separate the flesh from the peel with a spoon. Squeeze the lemon and add the juice to the cup of the hand blender along with the avocado. Blend everything thoroughly.
- Peel and finely dice the onion and add to the avocado cream together with the cream cheese. Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of dried ground hot pepper and mix gently.
- Carefully spoon the finished cream into the tomatoes. Finally arrange on a nice serving platter, garnish with chopped chives if desired and serve fresh.Buon appetito!
Tip
You can either put the tomato lids on top for decoration or cut them into small cubes and gently mix them into the avocado cream.
