This egg-free tiramisu not only lifts the mood, but also the taste to a new level. Our version of the popular dessert is perfect for anyone who wants to or has to do without eggs without missing out on the full tiramisu enjoyment. In Italy, this version is particularly popular in the hot summer months, as it keeps better at high temperatures without eggs and reduces the risk of salmonella.
First place the mascarpone and sugar in a bowl and mix thoroughly.
500 g mascarpone cheese, 100 g sugar
Whip the liquid cream with a hand mixer until stiff, add to the mascarpone and carefully fold in.
200 ml liquid cream
Soak the ladyfingers in the cold espresso for a few seconds on both sides.
300 g ladyfingers, 300 ml espresso coffee

Then cover again with a layer of ladyfingers and spread the rest of the cream on top.
Finally, smooth the surface. Place in the fridge and leave to harden for approx. 2 hours. Sprinkle generously with cocoa powder before serving.Buon appetito!
